An Apology to Kissing Suzy Kolber
If you havent heard of KSK and are not overly concerned with the world of Political Correctness, we strongly advise you to add them to your GoogleReader. Nonetheless, there has been an ongoing internet phenomenon regarding New England Patriot Laurence Maroney and his supposed Facebook site, almost all of the phenomena focused on the word “construda”.

Rather than make up crappy “Construda” Images and T-Shirts, we went right to the best Patriots beat writer in the country, Mike Reiss of the Boston Globe. The man gives the Boston Globe’s Sports Blogging a good name, if only his Celtics/Red Sox counterparts could do the same. Strangely enough, after a few emails Mike said he would look into the origination of this odd catchphrase. Got my reply today, and Dan Pires must have been in the room as his article is…about the same exact thing.
“‘construda?” — ‘I don’t know what that is,’ Maroney said.”
The crack staff was expecting an explanation, instead we got the reality of the majority of the internet and uber-geek phenomena, it doesn’t mean anything. Well shit, would it have been better had we left things alone? Probably, but then again ten thousand “construda” jokes were probably enough already. Nonetheless, a sincere apology is owed to KSK as we have ruined their ongoing joke and will have to now settle with just Laurence “Kool-Aid” Maroney…
