Like father, like son
We had the honor of meeting up with Kenneth Perkins, the father of our Sensei Kendrick Perkins this weekend. Mr. Perkins honored us with an interview to give us all a little background on Kendrick and the clan Perkins, as well as regale us with some of his tales of basketball glory. Mr. Perkins is a member of the Lamar University Athletic honor and was quite a baller in his own right, playing professional basketball in Europe and New Zealand.
Mr. Perkins is retired and living in Christchurch, New Zealand, one of the most beautiful cities on the planet and we hope someday to see him on his home turf.
