Just for the record

While Truehoop’s Henry Abbott is all aflutter about Mark Cuban banning bloggers from the locker room. We are not surprised, the Celtics banned us from the locker room as soon as the team got popular. How’s that for loyalty?
Anyway, nothing is more pukeworthy to us than the self righteous “we’re journalists too” diatribes of the pasty faced sports bloggers, so we won’t chose to enter the fray. However, if Brian Olive and the rest of the media staff want to reconsider our locker room credentials we’ll gladly accept. In the meantime, Beef Stallone will still be waiting in the wives and girlfriends section tape recorder in hand.

Pukeworthy is a very good word for it. Seeing how Real Journalists get nothing but respect here, y’all have the perfect approach to blogging, having a good time with it.
I do think Cuban is off base for banning any Major News Source, press credentials are press credentials and the Newspaper industry has been knocked enough. I mean I think the Green Room is a horrible waste of space but I imagine those douches get access to the locker room, and being part of the Globe, they should. They certainly should not ban Celtic Insider, as that blog rocks, thank you Mr. Bulpett.

We’re the New School of Gonzo Journalism. We can light this town like a Christmas Tree Mark Cuban. We got sources from all the ways inside to all the way out. We don’t need your sanctimonious, arrogant slant on every opinion you have on things you know little about. broadcast.com, it was funkin’ broadcast.com - radio on the internet - that got you yahoo’d, not your superior intellect and refined sensibilities. There are so many unkind things we want to say to you, but maybe it for the best. We think choosing to live in Dallas is an indictment in and of itself.
