I woke up sick this morning, more likely from the root canal I had yesterday than the Celtics game, but it certainly didn’t help. Quite frankly, I’m pissed. I’m pissed that the Celtics have allowed Atlanta to strut and preen and have their way with them without a single ounce of retaliation. The sheer fact that no one chop blocks Zsa Zsa Gabor into retirement is disgusting to me. The fact that Joe Johnson is allowed to play one on five basketball for ten plays in a row during crunch time against our supposed vaunted defense disgusts me. The fact that Doc Rivers is tinkering with his rotation in the playoffs IN THE PLAYOFFS disgusts me. The fact that Eddie “I Fix em as I see em” Rush is allowed to basically steal a game’s momentum with horrible officiating disgusts me. The fact that David Stern can fine a player for a hand gesture disgusts me.

But despite all that, I want to know if this team has the heart to close this damn series out. We need to know this before investing any more time and effort into this team because I’m not gonna root for a bunch of pansies who can’t man up when the time comes. That means you Ray Allen. That means you Paul Pierce and that means you Kevin Garnett. I’m calling you all out because it’s your fault this happened. You all need to step up and be accountable. No more ubuntu, no more big talk, no more of this shit. It’s time to earn those $20 million paychecks and close the mothers out. The question is do you have the heart to do it.
