**EXTRA**WORLD CHAMPIONS**EXTRA**

In the words of the ancients, one should make his decisions within the course of seven breaths. It is a matter of being determined and having the spirit to break through to the other side
    -Hagakure
    .

It has come to this Dear Reader(s). With a youthful heart and tempered knowledge of failure, we have braved the tempests, we have scaled the peaks, we have seen the promised land, we are eating the Manna. Humble Sensei, we owe you great thanks for our joy. Without such humility and dedication an honor, without the mentorship, the stewardship, the honed beastliness we have been awed by, this would be merely a dalliance with glory. We know better. We have sweat every second with you, burned the incense to our own emptiness and let everything but the task at hand fall away. We know the tunnel. We know the light. On the field of War, a Empty Master threw his men down in front of us, and he and his forceful followers fell with mostly silence and sievish defense. Empty ideas of Enlightenment will always fall to the Truth. We are Champions, Dear Reader(s). Our Celtics are born again.

Tonight, it was merely foot to throat. Trying to win a game on our floor? Where is the xenia,Young Buck? Thirty Nine Points is what a quick death looks like in Game Six. Yes, they will tell you tales of Kevin, Ray and the Truth - We know it was Rondo and the return of Perk, Glen River - Sports Therapist and Tom Thibodeau - Defensive Savant, Seamus Posey and Eduardo House, Big Baby and Leon, Scal and Beef’s BFF Pruitt, Bob and Pags and Wyc, Reggie and DJ, Red and Tommy and Russ, Bird and His Majesty Kevin McHale, and most certainly those other kats here in the Beast Lair, tirelessly busting out the copy for the most faithful reader(ship) in sports. We may toil monastically in Our Sensei’s foot(work) steps, but we are here also for you, Crack Reader(s), for the elocutionist(s) that see this light. Tonight that light glows a little brighter. Tonight, it’s changed. Tonight We Are Champions of the World. We Are The Fire Against The Night

All is right in the world. Red is smiling.

Also thank you guys for having this site up… it has been my first stop each day following a game.

  4. Pax Arcana Says:

Congratulations to everyone in the Beast Lair and the multitude of true Celtics fans that come to this place for spiritual guidance. I can’t imagine what it feels like to have your team fall from the heights of greatness and languish for two decades. Oh wait. Yes I can. I’m a Mets fan.

One last thing. If Game 6 showed anything to the Aquanetted fools on ESPN and the simian bloviators of the national media, it is this: PERK IS A BEAST.

  5. Mdub Says:

Love that you’ve been using the Sam Cooke reference this year, and I couldn’t agree more. It has been a long time coming, but today I’m in more of a “You Send Me” mood. Last night couldn’t have been sweeter….

this post embodies all that we have learned of ubuntu, love, fraternity, friendship, veracity, dedication, and perseverance.

just remember…I am a bigger douche than Lawyer Boi

  8. perkisabeast Says:

That’s fucking gross. Show some class. Seriously, you can bust balls but don’t talk about a kid who died tragically. He has a family and that’s just disrespectful.

Perk is a Beast. Pierce is the motherfuckin Truth. KG and Ray are more than advertised. Rondo is the new Hondo. Powe, Posey and House are honorary Beasts. Pruitt, Big Baby and Tony are at the start of hopefully long careers as role players after learning from the best. Scalabrine is the man. PJ Brown and Sam I Am EARNED those rings, they weren’t just handed to them. Pollard is just funny.

Not enough credit/praise can go to Rivers/Thibodeau/Eastman/Ray. They were the one’s who approached this with humility and united this team. Ainge and Eddie Lacerte obviously deserve a ton of merit for different reasons.

All the legends were there to be part of the revival!

Unbelievable to go from Yi Jinglang to this.

    Ubuntu!
