Shit don’t phase Bill Walker
“The vets try to bully you,” Walker said with a shrug. “But some of that stuff was not even basketball-related. (McGrady) hit me in the throat, and I hopped up. It’s all good, though. I’m not hurt. I’m walking and talking.”
McGrady was later ejected from the game after picking up a technical for fighting with eddie house. KG and the rest of the team were impressed with Walkers hard nosed play and had this to say about Walker:
“No. 1, he didn’t back down,” said Kevin Garnett. “More important, he understood in the heat of it to keep his composure. We have some very aggressive young guys who stand their ground, and that’s very rare.”
Celtics go on to win the game by one point thanks to a jumper by Gabe Pruitt and some great D by Darius Miles and Glen Davis.

They’re just lucky Perk was in street clothes. There will be blood the next time the Rockettes come to town. Ron Artest is a CANCER.

Yeah Artest is a turd. He’s a pitiful teammate to have for any team….someone like him needs to be in the penetentiary. He plays good hard-nosed defense and every now and then gets lucky and scores….but always has other players on his team and the coaches worried about when he’s gonna snap…..kind a-la-rasheedish.
