They Ain’t Bad No More

Deetroit Sad Boys
Whatever happened to that Detroit dynasty? It’s right here baby, hanging on our wall like a big stuffed buck. Twenty years ago Detroit ended our run of titles, as a broken down Celtics team couldn’t hold off the younger, faster and hungrier team. However, the score has been settled. Detroit’s run is over. It’s as dead as the credit market, mortgage based securities, and the permanent republican majority. Put a fork in it folks.
And while they’re looking for a silver lining over at their fan hub, they know as well as we do that Detroit will never beat us in a seven game series with or without Antonio McDyess — should they even make it that far. The Celtics are hungrier, better, nastier, meaner, tougher and have more heart. This one wasn’t even as close as the 18 point margin of victory, which was the result of a posthumous makeup job in garbage time. Lay it down Detroit. You’re toast.
Celtics win a laugher 98-80

Was such an ugly game, it was barely worth watching. Had the game on mute second half and was jamming to chinese democracy.
