F*ck This, Don’t Make Us Beat You Down Danny

“So its a shitty draft, lets make a horrible move for a crappy #2 Pick that has no J and sacrifice our Defensive Captain at the same time!”
Is Chris Wallace secretly running both Memphis and Boston at the same time?
Thats about all the logic I see behind the latest rumor, hopefully its just another string along.
Yeah, lets get rid of the guy that carried the Defense on his back when KG went down, despite playing with guys more undersized than a Spud Webb, thats fucking genius!
If Ainge makes a move like this and we get Rubustio or Thablount, he better go hide in mormon country cause the beast lair will be coming.

When I read about this rumor….my first thought was, ARE YOU F—-N KIDDIN ME? It makes absolutely no sense at all.
Its almost guaranteed that Shaq will be in a Cavaliers jersey next season. Leon Powe’s status with the team is uncertain. Mikki Moore is M.I.A.. If this move went through, the Celts would need to pick up a big man plus a back up.
Perk did a great job keeping Dwight Howard from going off. Its crazy to get rid of him…because Perk really is a steal with what he’s being paid. Unless the Cav’s drop Z, I don’t know of any bigs that can replace Perk.
Experience is also a factor. I don’t see a rookie being inserted into the line up and not only being expected to bang with Shaq, D.H., J.O., or Bosh…but he needs to know how to play with Pierce, Garnett, & Allen. Not to mention a pissed off Lebron James! Being able to stay on the court and out of foul trouble will also be huge. I just don’t see a rookie big man being able to do that.
What the Celts need is a bench that can get it done. Baby got it done. House got it done. Everyone else were non factors. Stephon may come around and Scal needs more confidence.
Just my opinion.

Obviously the sentiments on Perk are clear, the impact he made in the post-season, the benefits of his mentoring younger players and his overall ability to step up for the C’s should have cemented his place on the team.
His contract is more than palatable, D.A. is doing him a disservice by tossing his name around, but it is Ainge’s job to see if the spaghetti sticks.
House could be gone if he doesnt utilize his player option.
You don’t trade bruising 24 yr old centers that have already been major contributors to championship rings.

Exactly-I agree with both JSKC and Carl. I know alot of this is just DA testing the waters, but Perk better not go anywhere. The only player in the draft who would be worth parting with Perk for is going to the Clippers with the #1 pick.

We’ve heard Perk, Rondo, & Ray…..guess the only 2 definites are KG and P2.

Nice….I was just thinking what could be done to get Big Al back in Boston! He’s got that $15M/season contract though.
